Hello:

I have a 2010 mini cooper that has just had some repairs done, so it was as good as new a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend when I went to drive the car I found that my windows won't open and my turn signals won't work. Both functions returned for a few minutes during that drive but then went out again.

This weekend I attempted to drive it again and found the battery dead. I've boosted the battery and the car is working again, but still no turn signals and I can't open the windows.

Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I might fix it?

Lots of similar threads around, probably need to replace the battery..

 

1. Check the battery, most likely its bad.
2. Then check the alternator
