GGGGrrrr......HPFP
I would scan mine but I pitched it since it didn't apply to my vehicle.
I contacted my dealership last week and they passed along my information and concerns, but mini USA only offered to do a 50/50 split, which will end up still costing me about $750-775. More than I believe I should pay.
I've also been in touch with a lawyer who's building a class action involving us 2010 owners. But can I really wait until then? No.
I didn't see this posted anywhere so I thought I'd add, in case anyone is feeling adventurous and wants to give them a shot.
This supplier on eBay has Peugeot/Citroen fuel pump for $550.00 or best offer, including shipping from the UK.
Cross-referencing the part number from the pump above, I found one on AliExpress for $444.00 shipped.
Edit: Group buy anyone? Minimum of 10 units.
Both appear to be brand new, not rebuilt.
On another topic, I contacted my dealer about warranty on my 2010, since it was conveniently left out of the class action, and MINI told them they would do a 50/50 split on the pump, if the dealer determined that it was faulty. That would end up costing me ~$775.00, which is cheaper than a pump from any suppliers commonly mentioned on here, but quite a bit more than either of the pumps above.

and would the dealer go 50/50 on the pump only? installation is really easy. but you do need crow foot wrenches to torque the fuel line. (caveat, i can only speak from the work i did to my N18)
note, these seem to be N14 pumps which are stated to not fit the N18 engine by the 2nd website. too many revisions of a crap part.

Dealership would only cover it if they installed it, and I was informed they don't even replace the hard line anymore.
I would much rather install it myself, which is why I'm seeking other options.
