Thank you! This video helped. I did the parasitic draw test and I heard a weird buzzing coming from the front of the car. It is the noise of the OEM stereo trying to eject a CD. The multimeter reads 1.25Amps and stays there. I can repeat it over and over again.

Edit: Welp it's not just the stereo. I pulled both stereo fuses. While that stopped the CD ejection, I still heard a click. It's the speedo and tach, the needles jump and it stayed at 1.25Amps. So I took out both fuses for that too. No audible noises now, but it's jumping wildly from 1.2 to 0.8Amps.

Le sigh.

That depends on your stereo system, is it the HK system or base system?

Well I guess that's not the only issue. It's still pulling amps after pulling both fuses for the stereo. I saw the tach and speedo move too so I unplugged those. Still pulling amps although it dropped a little. Fluxuating a lot between 1.2 - 0.8 now.

But yes, it is a Harmon Karmon system.

Ha fun times! Anyone know where the switch is on the hatch that makes the car think it's closed? I couldn't find it so I just hung out in the back seat. Not easy getting in and out. LOL

Go back and read the title of your thread. Then spend a few hours searching the forum for other old threads voicing the same thing including car washes breaking off things and scarring the finish.

Oh I know, I'm just laughing how it's silly we have to worry about it a car wash disabling our cars. It is what it is with this car. All of them have quirks.
