I am rebuilding my suspension and prefer to build 'quick struts', i.e. complete assemblies that do not require spring compressors at the time of installation. On the site of one of our vendors the rear mounts are available only from MINI, at an obscene cost. In contrast, the fronts are available from Lemforder at a significant discount. Lemforder does offer the inserts with which to rebuild the rear mount, but that sort of defeats what I am trying to accomplish. Does anyone know if anyone offers the Lemforder rear mount for a Gen1 Mini? TIA.
