Chattering When Releasing Clutch While Turning

I found a few posts that were from 2005 and I can't find them for the life of me to post here for reference. I also didn't really see a resolution to their issue and I figured a few years passed and more people had this issue.

A few weeks ago I posted this and I have a feeling it has something to do with this.
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...tor-sound.html

When I am reversing or starting off in a turn, I am getting a chattering noise/feeling. Best way to describe it is off-road tire rub sound but mechanical. At times it feels like it is bogging down the engine. It is directly related to the clutch engagement. I want to make an appointment with Mini to have them take a look but from my experience with this chain of automotive dealers, they are not always the most qualified. I really want to avoid replacing a clutch with something that could fail, and not fix the issue.

This is NOT a typical diff noise (low groan) or power steering noise.

It is a mechanical chattering when I release the clutch at low speed (take off) turning.

Any input would be appreciated! It sucks because the car only has a little over 11,000 miles on it.

If the noise is only while turning and taking off, you need to diagnose if it's an axle problem, and which axle is causing the problem, or if it is in fact a transmission issue.

If it's not accompanied by a clicking noise, I'd guess the inner CV joint. You may also need to replace your transmission oil.

It isn't a CV noise. This is directly related to the clutch.
When I am backing out of a parking space, for example, when I turn the wheel and slowly let off the clutch I get a grinding and it feels like it bogs down the motor a bit. I hear my diff noise so it is not that.

Any time I am slowly maneuvering around a turn and I slowly release the clutch I hear it.

Change your transmission fluid.

I paid $150 for air in the tires. Apparently, the tire were at 14 psi and the tire was rubbing the strut. There was a little portion of the tire that is supposed to protect the rim that sticks out and makes contact. I thought the TPS or TFM or whatever would tell me but when they all lose air at the same time, it is hard for them to pick it up.

They looked at everything, said the car is perfect. Lots of the techs fancied my ride, it truly is a Mint Mini!

At least I have more money than brains :/
