Intercooler Diverter

Been looking for one but all I seemed to find required you remove the inner seal from the scoop for the auto. Found the one DDMWorks and it fit without modification.

I know those are supposed to direct the air to the intercooler more efficiently but how exactly does it help the engine? Just curious. I'm thinking about the DDM one also.

Whether theory or not it's supposed to direct more air which might translate to a but more power https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...r-benefit.html.

But in actuality I bought it because it just looks a lot nicer than the original plastic cover.
