I just broke my emergency boot release in my 2003 MCS. The boot latch is fine, as is the cable itself. The bone colored plastic doodad on the end of the cable snapped. It looks like it's easy to replace, as the plastic box on the end of the cable is easy to disassemble. Is there any possibility this is available at the dealer?

How would someone do something so peculiar and stupid? Taking the back of the car apart to change speakers and lay down a little Dynamat.
