Torx, Metric or SAE?

Have owned a number of American cars from a 1941 Ford to a 1967 Dodge Monaco. All my tools for those cars are in inches or fractions thereof.

So what is my 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible? Metric and/or Torx.

Metric for sure. Lots of 10mm, 13mm, 16 and wheels are 17mm,
There are Torx both male and female

I have Metric spanners already. Guess I'll have to pick up some Torx thingamabobs.

Metric for most everthing excpet that oil drain plug, takes a 1/2 inch and the torx for the trim and interior pieces.
