Stalling when warm. Help!

Hi guys, my mini has been great to me until just recently. The car has no problems firing up cold start, and is quite normal to drive around for a bit. Only after a long drive it gets fully warmed up, the engine rpms dip and surges a bit and causes the car to stall out. There are no codes that comes up from my OBD 2 reader. I've checked my oil, cleaned the air filter and throttle body, and changed my plugs thinking it would solve the problem. I want to bring it in to a shop but I'm if theres anything else i can fix to save money, I want to try that first. Any advice guys?

I have a similar problem. 2007 R56 with the JCW tune. When I restart it when hot, like after getting gas, it starts, revs to about 1100 RPM then the RPMs fall and it dies. I've tried changing the spark plugs, walnut blasting the valves/cleaning the throttle body, changed the timing chain and reset the adaptions in the ECU.

At this point I think it is either a vacuum leak (possibly from the intake manifold), MAF or O2 sensor. The dealer "wasn't able to replicate the problem". My car throws no codes either.

Maybe try cleaning your MAF?

I'd think maybe a vacuum leak or maybe a MAF issue as said above. Did you get this figured out?
