Drivetrain engine light and airbag warning

I have had my 2009 mini Cooper S for about a month now after only one day of owning it I got the drivetrain engine light and took it to the dealerships mechanic and they repaired it at their own cost it fixed the issue in the car is been fine since but just last night during a spirited Canyon Drive I got the warning light so I left the canyons gingerly and went to the local a.m. p.m. Where there was some light and did some reading and seeing that people were saying just to disconnect the battery to reset the warning light and if it goes away it was just a hick up that threw the code and nothing serious and if it turned back on then it is serious and to take it in. I disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and then reconnected it and it's been fine since I continued Canyon driving for the rest of the night and had no issues. should I still be worried? Do you guys think I should take it in anyway or wait to see if I get the light again? Also another concern I have is during hard to Canyon driving my airbag warning light and seatbelt light will randomly turn on for a few seconds then turn back off does anyone else know what this means or have had this happen to them? Thanks in advance!

Yes, I'd plug into your OBDII port with a diagnostic scanner to pull the code it was throwing. Post up the P code here when you figure it out. Sometimes a local Auto Zone can read the fault codes. I'd highly suggest plugging in and seeing what faults are present in your system. This will help lead us to possible issues your MINI is currently having.
