2007 Mini Cooper R56 p0015 & p0017, Please help! :)

(NON Turbo, WITH Variable Valve Timing) 2007 Mini Cooper

Hey guys! So here is what I got and excuse my poor forum skills, new here!

I have a 2007 Mini Cooper with 73,000k. The timing chain tensioner failed and caused the timing to become so far out of wack that it wouldn't start, this is where how purchased the car.
I understand that the valves may be toast but we replaced the timing chain kit with the tensioner and it started right up! The car runs and drives great with no hesitation or stumble what so ever.

Here's are issue:
p0015 & p0017 keep popping up after driving for a few min.
Also we notice upon start up that the RPMs come up for a split second and drop back down. (150-250rpm)

Here's what we replaced:
Full timing kit with Tensioner
We have swapped the Cam position sensors
Replaced Exhaust Side Camshaft Adjuster
Replaced Exhaust Side Vanos.

We are stuck and honestly have nothing left. Maybe someone on here has had a similar situation or might have a idea that we simply are not thinking of?
Thanks a million

Any luck?

I have an '08 Clubman that is doing the same thing. I'm just wondering what your final fix was so I can try that. I've replaced both camshaft position sensors as well as both Vanos solenoids.
