Stock trim fading?

So this is my second Mini R53, and a reoccurring issue for me is that the trim fades... quickly.

I've attempted to use SEVERAL restoration products, and I've come to the conclusion that with the use of them all, the only way to restore it is using Wipe-New regularly [Every 6 months or so?] or to replace the trim entirely. I've attempted using Maguire's/Turtle restoration.. and man, did those BARELY last more than 2 weeks haha.

I've tested about 4 products, and not to advertise or anything, but Wipe-new seems to be the only worth while product out there...
Has anyone done any testing on restoring the trim? Outcomes? Personal opinions?

Do you happen to wax the car often?

What I've commonly noticed with really anything is that none of this stuff tends to last. This is something I've faced with headlight restoration kits. A good suggestion, as stated above, is to give all the panels on the car a good wax every 6 months to help prolong their life. I also use Adam's VRT on trim pieces as well since they have an SPF to help fight against sun damage. No luck with finding things that actually help after they've faded and lasted though. If you do, let us know!

Seems like a good excuse to color match them.
