I think my rear-view mirror in my R53 self imploded in the hot heat. I had the car under a car cover over the 4th of July weekend. When I finally took the cover off this weekend, I discovered some type of oily residue inside the rear-view mirror. I can clearly see this when I look at the mirror. The oily residue looks to be behind the actual mirror. Anyway, I'm planning to get a replacement used mirror off of ebay.

Does anyone know if the 05-06 R53 rear-view mirrors will also fit my 04 R53? I do have the auto-dimming feature on my existing mirror. In addition, is the rain sensing feature also a part of the auto-dimming feature? I want to be sure I'm getting the correct replacement.
