I recently got the kazoo sound after shutting down, and found a thread relating it to the pressure converter. After replacing the pressure converter, I drove it around the block and had no boost and the half power engine light.
Is it possible I used the wrong pressure converter? the car is a 2010 and I ordered from http://www.ecstuning.com/News/MINI_R...013_2014_2015/
The car isn't modified at all and was making boost before the change.

 

update: put in the old one and it works just fine (no noise yet but I'm sure its coming soon), going to contact ecs tuning and get another one.
Stay away from the product above, I would recommend going with something pricier to save yourself some time.

We have no had any issue with this part as its made by the same company Pierburg, that make the Genuine MINI one. Just better pricing. Also make sure when installed the connection is tight on the vacuum line ( and the vacuum line is not split ), also on the plug.
