The infomous P1498 code!

So a few monts ago I started driving and out of nowhere the eml light came on and after that a c.e.l light came up for a p1498 code.
After researching the forum it was said that the most common problem to cause that code was either the supercharger inlet tube , due to weak factory plastic welds or the silicone boots that connect to the intercooler. After replacing both parts the problem didn't go away. After about putting in 1000$ Worth of parts and labor In the car,I decided to go the smart route and do a smoke test. After performing the smoke test it was clean that the intake manifold gasket was leaking.... So out of personal experience b4 u guys start changing parts and spending unnecessary $$ on parts, take ur car to a nice shop that has a smoke machine and c where there's an air leak. Ever since I changed the gasket the car drives at 100%.

Good advice as we always try to tell people that it's cheaper long run to have a shop diagnosis it.

While you should probably take it to a shop as WayMotorWorks suggests, in a pinch you can blow cigar smoke into one of the hoses yourself. Not as good as having the real machinery, but I've seen it done as a last resort.
