no telescoping wheel, one of my few gripes with this car (05 MCS)

Is there a simple spacer solution for the stock wheel? I've been unable to locate anything by searching. Just trying to confirm that there is no easy fix to get that wheel 1-2" closer to my chest without having to fold my legs under the wheel.

 

lack of response here and all the lack of any suggestions in all old wheel spacer threads in the interior forum tell me there is no such thing.


I suppose I am now justified to budget for roll cage, Sparco Evos and a proper racing wheel with adapter hub, quick release and most importantly the proper spacers to bring it to the right distance from my chest. Air bags are overrated anyway.
