N18 Boost Problem

N18 Boost Problem

Hello there,

I am having a boost problem that I've searched all over the internet and couldn't find a solution to.

My car is a 2011 MINI Countryman S All 4 w/ N18 engine (auto tranny)

When in normal mode my car boosts 1.0bar (around 14psi) when in sport mode is engaged it peaks to 1.4bar (around 20psi).

I read that sport mode wasn't changing the turbo pressue of the car, was that changed on N18 engines? Or am I remembering something wrong?

My car had superchips tune, alta FMIC, alta intake, and a custom made dp.

I removed all of them and went back to stock and installed the latest software to the ecu.

Now this behaviour is a little bit strange to me.

I think that the previous owner messed with the wastegate settings.

What you guys think that the problem can be?
