I see what appears to be rubber washers squishing out around the bolts on the coil.

I found one of them torn off yesterday.

Is that something I should replace right away?

 

Naw...if you want too you can...
Just don't over tq it when you reinstall, or you will crack the valve cover...you are taliking about the ignition coil right?
Think the "washers" are just orings....they ARE important to prevent vibration, etc...but a few days should be fine. Some aftermarket coils use one rather than two of them to fit snuggly...

 

Yep, the igntion coil. The bolts were not torqued to the proper speck when I bought the car, so, I tightented them the the spec in the shop manual.

I'm betting I'm the one who made them squish.......

 

Just found them on ECS tuning.
