water pump o-ring / mystery oil leak diagnosis

I noticed a coolant / oil mixture leaking beneath the MINI so I pulled the SC and the water pump o-ring appears to be the culprit for the coolant leak. The SC oil on the water pump side looked surprisingly clear / oily with no metal parts. However, there's something leaking oil and it looks like it's above the crank position sensor but I'm not sure.

The coolant is the recommended gold zerex and has no oil in it.

I started to clean up the mess on the oil pan but realized it might not be the crank sensor ring so I stopped and snapped a pic.

Any ideas on the leak?

That's what my engine block looked like when the SC was leaking oil.
Just because the oil looks clean doesn't mean it's not leaking out.

I'll examine the SC a bit more closely for any evidence of leaks. The rear fill chamber had roughly 1.4oz when I poured it out.
