ABS Ring? Tone Ring? Reluctor ring? Help please

OK guys - I replaced my front hubs and damaged the heck out of my ABS sensor on the driver's side trying to get it out.

No big deal - bought a new one, but I still got an ABS light (and ice pedal)

Hmm....remove the one I had to find that it looked a bit damaged - it looks like the medal "lip" on the front axle was slicing into the sensor.

Weird. Bought a new sensor. Still got the problem.

The hub I got to replace the driver's side was used. Did some research and found a post that said that the reluctor ring on their hub was bad, and replacing it fixed a similar issue. Replaced the hub.

When I replaced the hub I noticed that my new sensor looks like it is making contact with the "lip" on the axle, too, damaging it.

Light is still on.

I consider replacing the front axle because of that contact issue, and when I look up the part, some say "does not include ABS ring". Huh? Do a little more research and find out what a subaru tone ringlooks like, what it does....what a 300C ring does, etc...but nothing for mini.

Research "mini abs ring" and "mini reluctor ring" and "mini tone ring" and get nothing but a kink to a german auction that is selling a wheel hub/ bolt/abs ring combo. Photo shows a hub and bolts, and the description is in German!

Here are my questions - am I missing something or did I damage something? Why is that lip hitting the sensor?? Is there a spacer?

What is the reluctor ring/tone ring/abs ring? Can I buy a new one?

I am lost...please help!

Please make sure you have the right parts, abs sensor & wheel hub, what year is your MINI ? The ABS senor read off of the wheel hub. Not the axle. Look at our pics.
