Seat bolster pushing my right arm forward too far

leading to a very uncomfortable position. I know a lot of people here have the exact opposite problem where the seat bolsters are not big/high enough to hold them in place.
But I'm a small guy (5'4", 118lbs), the driver seat bolsters are too far apart for me so not only they don't serve any purposes (to hold me in place) but they also push my arms (especially the right arm) too far forward into a very uncomfortable driving posture.
Does anyone else have this problem? if so, how did you resolve it? Do you put a pad behind your back? Do you take remove some of the padding out of the bolsters?
Btw, I have a 2006 S, Leather seats (or leatherette, I'm not sure).
Thank you in advance for your answer.

The easy fix is a pad behind your back. The expensive fix is an upholstery shop building up the back or de stuffing the bolsters, or different seats. You might have a sport seat that has more contours to it. Sit in some different MINI seats and see what they feel like.

If you keep both hands on the steering wheel then the bolsters shouldn't hit your arm. Otherwise I just rest my right arm on the center console/armrest and it doesn't seem to be a problem, but I am 6' 2" and 180 lbs. If both hands are already on the wheel, then try moving the seat forward, back, up, down, etc. Sorry, kinda obvious I know.

Thank you for your feedback. I'll probably go with the easy fix and put a piece of thin memory foam behind my back.

Thank you for your input. I do a lot of long distant, freeway driving. 2 hands on steering wheel is too tiring. Another problem w being a short driver is that my seat is positioned too close to the front making the factory armrest completely useless. On a somewhat unrelated topic, the lever (on the left of the driver seat) is sticking out much further than needed. it keeps on rubbing on my leg.

I LOVE the way the R53 drives... love it. love it. But I tell you, German cars are really bad in ergonomics... compared to honda's, mazda's, toyota's that I'd owned over the decades
