Starting issue...need help!

Ok, so here is the list of what's going on...

Took the front half of my R53 apart yesterday to service my SC. All was good. Replaced the Water Pump, Thermostat, Radiator Fan, Serpentine Belt, added a tensioner stop and upgraded to a 15% SC pulley. Everything went together great and the car ran incredibly when I took it home from my friends shop. Then I went out and it wouldn't start without a jump. There is power there, but I'm guessing it's not enough to deactivate the security circuit or something of that sort. The alternator is the only thing I removed that I didn't change that I regret not doing while having it apart (112,xxx mile R53 that I just bought and have no clue about the history so why not play it safe). So now I'm trying to figure out what the actual culprit is. It started this morning but now won't start without a jump again. At home this am the battery showed 12.3v. While driving around the gauge shows 13v and 12v at idle. Seems like everything is working and the battery appears to be new (again, don't know but it looks brand new). Is there anything I'm missing or anything I could have left loose that would make this issue arise? It's kinda annoying asking for a jump everyday, but damn the car runs great now when it starts, lol.

Have the battery load tested (looks have nothing to do with condition)you know it has good volts...but amp capacity is unknown....but a free, simple test..... And while you are at it, clean the terminals and tighten connections....
Then check the ground wires...the one on the engine mount MIGHT be the issue since the mount was disturbed when the pulley was done....

Damn, nice call Zippy! I just checked and we only snugged that nut, never got back to it with the wrench. Started right up! Hopefully that was the only oops!

Thanks again!
