2011 MCS red warning lights: service lift car with break

hello everyone..
I am owner of 2011 MCS with 42.500 miles on. Two days ago I got a red warning light: CAR ON LIFT, and shortly after this the BREAK light came on. And NO, its not emergency brake light.

Before I call dealer and decide to take day off just to drive my car over 100 miles to closest dealer... I decided to ask here, whats Your opinion and if anyone of You has any experience with this?

By manuals I shouldn't be driving this car and call mini (I understand it has to be related to safety of BREAK system etc.)...

in attachments are pics of the problem

check your service indicators - could be brake pads or brake system flush time.

+1... either just the brake pad wear sensor got jacked up on the front or back or its time for new brakes. You should be fine to drive the car... just take care of the issue at the earliest convenience.

SIL (Service Indicator Light)

There are multiple SILs, e.g., Engine Oil, Front Brake, Rear Brake, Road Worthiness Test, Vehicle Check, and Brake Fluid

What you are seeing is the Vehicle Check SIL, so yes... time to get it checked over, should be no faults, just time to be inspected.

Motor on!
