I have an 02 MCS. My issues are these:

1. Cold start - My cold start issues are mild. Usually takes me two tries sometimes just one try if I leave the key all the way forward for 10 seconds prior to starting.

2. Stumble??? - I am not sure if I am actually experiencing the stumble or if it is just a lack of skill on my part. It seems like no matter what I do, after the clutch is out in 1st gear, even when I floor the acelerator, the thing just wants to bog down.

I am pretty sure I have pre v.36 software.

Should I have my dealer update me?

You might want to wait for V.38 which is about to arrive.
While V.36 was OK, just wait to see how V.38 goes from early reviews. I don't think there is any rush for you at this time. It's not officially out yet but there is talk.

You can't keep getting every update so pick and choose for the best one.

 

I have a service appt. on July 8th. Hopefully it will be out by then.
