'06 MINI Hatchback, Front Drivers Side Rattle Noise???

I've looked up and down on the forums. I am aware of the death rattle and such, but the rattle I have isn't as pronounced. It is consistent, however, with engine speed. It almost sounds like a "loose screw". I feel like if it was the timing chain tensioner it would also be much louder. From what I've seen on other forum posts, those problems tend to be accompanied by a "diesel engine rumbling" sort of sound.

I know it is not coming from the door. It seems loudest on the side of the engine closest to the driver, by the battery. Has anyone had this issue or have any idea of what it might be?

Here is a video. It doesn't sound like much, until you roll between two cars or by a building and the rattling is loud and clear:
EDIT: at 5-6 seconds in the video it is fairly pronounced

I have a similar sound that happens between say 1,900rpm and 2,200 rpm. I too suspected the cam chain but it sounds like it is coming from the drivers side engine mount, but those are so solid that makes no sense. Nothing bad has happened, so I'm not too worried but I will take the air box out and dig around a bit.

I checked my two engine mounts on top, but not the lower one as that would mean I have to jack it up. I wouldn't imagine that one would be lose, but I will check anyway. The others are tight as heck

Checked all engine mounts and they're all tight as can be. I am still perplexed :/

I've been dealing with this noise for about a month. I changed the tensioner the other day, thinking it was the death rattle. Drove it the other morning and still there. Does your sound change depending on outside temperature?

My rattle isn't very pronounced at idle, it is louder between 1,500 and 2,000rpm then either goes away or becomes inaudible in the cabin. I've driven it 12,000 miles and nothing horrible has happened so I'm not too worried about it, but I'm still trying to find it.
