Hi everyone! Can you tell me the location of the bleeder screw location on the base motor? Instructions I have found on the web are only for the Turbo. I have been topping off my coolant, and the coolant level in the expansion tank has been slowly going down. I am going to try to burp the system. I hope it's not the thermostat, because this would be my second one already, and I am only at 25k on the odometer. Thanks.

The bleed screw is part of the thermostat housing. It's on the driver's side of the engine, and is kind of buried by the hoses there. It's number 8 in this image. When installed on the car, it should be closer to the center of the engine bay than the side.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip and the diagram. It was really hidden in there.

Long Phillips head screw driver will work, that its above #8. Don't back it out all the way, it then pops out and it can fall on the thermostat housing crevices and then its a pain to fish out. Do it a little and back it out till you see the coolant spill out or bubble out.
