My windshield is cracked and I have the rain sensing wipers.
All of the posts I have read on aftermarket glass state that it is better, but no aftermarket companies make windshields for the rain sensing wipers.

However, the dealer told me that you can get aftermarket glass for the rain sensing wipers, but from their experience, the rain sensing wipers don't work right with them.

Does anyone have any info or experience with this?

I have not yet heard of an aftermarket windshield for the rain sensors, but I'd take the dealer's advice against the non-MINI brand with a grain of salt.

Just be careful that the grain of salt does not come in contact with your new windshield as it might shatter it
