I have a 2013 Clubman S with auto dimming / homelink rearview mirror and it is getting little specs all through it. Imagine a delamination or flaking of a layer behind the glass. It seems to be internal to the mirror not on the surface of the glass. I think it started very minor but seems to be geting worse.

Has anyone else experienced that?

I am due for the 2nd dealer service soon and hopefully something like that is under warranty but I was wondering what you all know?

I say let the dealer sort it out and report back. I bought my homelink dimming mirror second hand and it has a small circle damage on the inside. The previous owner and myself can't figure out how it occurred.
