Door sill trims to R55 Clubman
Door sill trims to R55 Clubman
When reading the forum I see that I am not the only one who has scratched door sill trims.
My Clubman has both left and right door sill trims slightly scratched and every now and then they bend up. So, I would like to replace them.
But these stickers seem to be pretty expensive! Because I have a R55 the availability seems to be even more limited. Where have you bought your trims, is there a place where you can buy these at a reasonable price?
If the price of the stickers is high, I guess I might consider going one step further and upgrade to the illuminated door sills (which is probably a bad idea in a car which my wife uses to transport kids).
I would like to have JCW door sill trims. If JCW is not available something that does not refer to the model of the car at all. Those trims with a small union jack could be an option.
is there anyone who cuts trims for you if you send the dimensions? After all, the trim is nothing but an aluminium (or plastic) strip with an adhesive.

I found was I was looking for! I bought new door sill trims from Race Foxx. Their JCW trims did not have precisely the same print as my original trims, but in my opinion close enough.
I think the price of Racefoxx was good and they shipped the product quickly. In addition to this, I noticed that the Race Foxx parts were much better quality than the original parts.
The metal is much stronger and they were cut to more precise size and shape (the corners are no 90 degrees) than the original trims.
