2008 MCS with suspension issue

Hello there is have been trying to identify an issue I'm having with my 08 MCS with about 45k. Been having excess road noise through steering wheel and overall ride. Checked most everything I can think of. There is no slop in steering and when I got the car off the ground I noticed my torque arm bushing looked a little odd. Is the bushing supposed to have a snug fit to housing on the arm? I will attach some pics to see if I can help illustrate my question. Any help on this would be great or a pic of a norm bushing that I could compare mine too

My first instinct is to look at the tires. If the torque arm bushing was funky, I would expect that the noise would change with engine rpm.

Any mods?

Have fun,
Mike

I believe that bushing looks normal, I remember it not being solid so those gaps you see could be correct. did it look torn at all?

At 45K miles you should be nearing the end of the lifespan of stock tires. Are they near the wear bars yet?
If yes, all tires get noisier and harder as the amount of thread decreases.

If the tires are new, what new tires did you install?
Does your noise change wary with speed?
Does it get louder during turns (equal amount left vs. right)?

HTH,
a

P.S.: There is nothing obviously wrong with your engine mount/stabilizer bushing. At 45K miles, you should not expect significant suspension wear yet, unless you hit some major pot holes lately, it which case anything is possible.
