Auto Gear Position Lights go off

Hello there, my car is an auto 07 MCS.

Recently i am having some issues.

The lights on the shift boot go off, and when i pull the gear stick to the left, nothing happens.

This is caused by a blown fuse.

The auto wipers fuse with 5A.

We change it, it goes away for a while and it goes off again.

What might be the problem?

Thanks.

I have read here that there are electrical bits underneath the cup-holders that can be shorted by water dripping onto them. Perhaps this is related?

Here's an update:

The issue went away for a good 3 months and came back this weekend.

What I did to the car (other than usual, was to get the coilovers to a higher setting.)

Electrically nothing new happened.

The issue repeated itself on 3 occasions ( I changed the fuse 3 times)

- Going over a bump
- Cruising on the road ( Auto Lights on Auto Rain Wipers on )
- Going over a bump

Do you guys know where is the TPMS sensor located in 07 MCS? I narrowed down the problem to that sensor, because I tried switching everything else.

It might be a bad cable maybe. I will get the car lowered tomorrow. See what happens.

F17 5A 30G X11008 18 0.5 RT/VI Rain/headlight sensor
X11008 9 0.5 SW/RT Transmisson control, Tire pressure control (RDC)

That is the bad fuse.

Problem solved.

Apparently a cable going near the transmission has been damaged due to high heat and low suspension, that's why the fuse was getting blown everytime I went over a speedbump or a hole. We changed the cable, changed the fuse and no problem ever since.
