Headlight Xenon Level Control causing EML Light?

I have had my EML light coming on every now and then but it can be reset by switching the ignition off then back on. While changing my front brakes I found that the wires to the Xenon Level Control sensor (Behind axle boot and in front of the sway bar in the driver side wheel well, pictured) were pulled from the plug. Could this be the cause of it occasionally coming on. It only comes on between shifting. Thanks for any help. I hope I've finally found the problem. I'm ordering a pigtail/plug regardless to fix it but wasn't sure if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I have the same problem (wires pulled out of level sensor connector), but not your EML symptom.

Could you tell me what/where you purchased the pigtail/replacement connector?

Xenon level sensors won't cause the EML light, so something else caused it

What will disconnection of one of the two sensors cause? Just mis-pointjng of the xenon headlights?

Quadmaniac, I waited for someone parting out a full car and had them cut the pigtail for me and soldered the new one on. Easy enough. I have had no problems with with EML since the warmer weather has arrived... It ONLY did it in the winter and in between shifts. Any ideas Way Motor Works? I am anticipating it will happen again this winter. Might have something to do with air density...
