CEL & Oil Leak

Just got my wife's '12 MCS hardtop (26k miles) back from the dealer. A couple of times it had thrown a CEL with slight loss of power. After a few minutes the CEL would go out and it run fine. I also noticed a small amount of oil on the garage floor, not enough to have to add any. I finally got around to making an appt, off to the dealer.

For the CEL, they pulled codes 2C58 and 2DA2 (which I can find little info on). They replaced the exhaust VANOS solenoid and cleared the codes. While in there, tech spotted a coolant leak and replaced a bunch of gaskets. So far so good.

On the oil leak, tech replaced Map Oil Solenoid and the wiring harness connected to it.

I asked the SA, if I wasn't under warranty, what would this cost me? He said, 'oh about $2k, it adds up fast'. Hmmm

every time the CEL light has come on it has been $500 + out of my pocket. Just recently the radio went dead on start-up...completely blank, fuses good, so it looks like at least another $500-$1000 bill for repairs, the Mini is a POS in my opinion....never again sorry to say
