How would you handle the 2187 mixture adaptation issue that can be encountered on an R56S? In other words what would be the steps taken in order to resolve the issue?

 

I'm really surprised no one addressed this question at the time. I have exactly the same issue with my car now. My Scan guage isn't showing any other errors, so it makes it a little tougher.

From what I've read this is one of two things. Air getting into the air/fuel mixture. So you need to check the obvious spots, gas cap, oil filler cap, Vaccum hoses etc ..... If not that, then you need to check fuel delivery/Pressure.
