CVT problem R50 2004
Hi,
I have a R50 mini cooper with CVT transmission '04.
When you start the car and put D at 1800-200o rpm the car is slowing down (breaking-shifting down) an keep going with low speed. If you kick down the throttle it passing by this "problem" and works fine until you have to slow down and go with low speed so you have tha same again.
What i have already done is to change gearbox, check the dynamo that charges the battery for voltage problems, reprogram the transmission ECU ( everytime i change something), no errors in the diagnostic,no check engine,no EP light (emergency program) the only thing i haven tried is to change the battery.
Th problem is that im filling is getting worse and worse and im afraid its going to have a mechanical problem,(if it isnt already an electrical or ecu problem), because i noticed that if you are moving with 1800-2000 rpm (the rpms i had already problem) and moving about at 60km/h and loose the throttle, the rpms goes to 5000rpm for a second till the car slows down.
if you have any suggestions....you will save me
