DSC and TPS lights on

So on Friday night as I was driving home, I hit patch of ice and hit a curb with the driver side front wheel. The mini's steering wheel is positioned to the left a bit but drives fine. The next day I drove it about 15ft and the DSC and the TPS lights come on simultaneously. So I've noticed when I start the car, no lights but when I start driving, they turn on. I've read on the forum that it could be the wheel speed sensor. I was wondering if it could be anything else?

p.s. I have a 2005 MCS

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Johnny

Get the suspension checked out. The wheel should not steering to the left a bit. Your alignment will be out and you might burn through tires. Sounds like a damaged tie rod or lower control arm possible ?

For the DSC and TPS light the hit might have damaged the ABS / wheel sped sensor. A good smack to the wheel might have cracked it. Also check the connection plug under the wheel well as it might have knocked it loose. Down by number 13.

When installing the ABS sensor make sure you clean out the insertion hole, as I have had corrosion built up and when you slide it in they tend to stick. When you pop the old one out and its damaged you might have to take the wheel bearing off to get it from the bottom and push up. Soak the top of the sensor insertion with some PB blaster or penetrating fluid and let soak. There is a little hex head screw that holds in the sensor. #3

Thanks and hope that helps.
