I have a 2004 Mini Cooper.

Recently I've been having issues with my driver's side window. It is very slow to roll down, and it makes a weird crackling sound as it rolls down. Sometimes it gets stuck for a few seconds. I'm wondering if this is because I rolled the window down one morning when it was caked in ice?

Also, in December I started hearing rattling in the dashboard when driving over bumpy roads. I ignored it for a week or so until one morning when I got in the car and noticed a huge crack on the part of the dashboard near the windshield (closer to the passenger side). Upon closer inspection I saw two or three more hairline cracks forming in that same area. I can't find anything about this particular issue anywhere. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
