Xenon Lights Auto Level Issue

Hi, I have an issue which I don't know where to start on as electrics aren't my strongest field with cars.

When i start the car the lights go up and down like they should, but sometimes they will be very low. When I first noticed this i took an allen key and raised them back up, now sometimes they just go sky high and blind everyone.

I notice sometimes when I am parked up in traffic or whatever, they'll twitch and move up and down on their own even when I'm not moving!

It's been very wet lately and the problem seems to have come along with the wet weather.

Does anyone have any idea where to start diagnosing or anything to try?

I believe the sensor that levels them is in the rear. Check there and see if anythings up

I took my car to get read by a BMW diagnostics computer and it raised a fault with the front ride height sensor. Does anyone know where I can buy one of those from? Cant seem to find them on the internet, I expect BMW to be quite expensive :(

We have it here. There is one front sensor , that mounts to the front driver side near the lower A arm ( control arm ). Comes with the little mount.

Level sensor front. R55 R56 R57 , R58 R59 models

Not a problem, I thought you were asking a question about it.

Thanks guys but I have a strong feeling the problem isn't with the sensor its self. It has been dry today and last night and the lights have dropped down again so I adjusted them back up and they seem to be sensing acceleration and braking again.

I think water maybe getting in to the system somewhere.

Possible that the plug was not snapped all the way in, was there someone working in the front wheel well locations near the suspension and un-clipped the plug ?

I would make sure that both front and rear snore are clipped in all the way.

Thanks
