Hi everyone!

I have an 2007 R56 and I have recently switch to NM lowering spring and I went to do a alignment afterward. There is no MINI dealership around so I went into a BMW.
After the alignment, my traction control light, yellow brake light goes on, my turn signal light won't goes off automatically and my wiper would turn on by itself after I shut the engine off(?)
I went back in to the dealership and they told me that the light was always on and so do the service light as there are so many service due. I'm pretty sure there is only one warning light on the dash before the alignment which is the bulb out light and the only service due within the half year is my state inspection.
Could anyone advice what happen to my car? I have attached few error code in the attachment. From my research here I thought it might be the speed sensor but the abs light wasn't on?

Thanks in advance for anyone that might be able to help me!

I'll tell you what I know, you don't get error messages when you need service. Perhaps whoever installed the springs pinched or damaged your cables. I stopped taking my Mini to the dealer as of last month because every time I take it in something else needs fixing right after they performed a servicing!

For instance I took my Mini in for a carbon blasting, go to my car and now my blinker won't turn off even though the car is off. Wasn't like that when I brought it in and when the dealer performed the carbon blasting they didn't bother disconnecting the battery!

Then after I had my FRM module and after $1000 dollars I have crush damage at the end of my drivers side door like something smashed into it when the dealer had the car. The dealer told me that it looked like someone tried to steel my car, shifting blame everywhere else but them.

I'm done with the dealer!!

I once had a problem with the traction control and yellow brake light after a wheel alignment. Turned out that the steering position sensor was off centre and needed resetting. When the car was pointing in a straight line the computer thought that it had 15degrees of steering lock on, as it was out of callibration. The computer obviously could not make sense of that, so gave codes. Could be that. I would get the workshop that did the alignment to reset the callibration on the steering position sensor.

Another time I had a similar cluster of problems and that turned out to be a failed steering control module, which was an expensive fix

Thank you so much for you guys help!
Systemlord, you're right... I seldomly have good experience with dealer... but Ironically I think I have to bring my car back to dealer to change the parts and reprogrammed it :(

robbo_mcs, thank you so much for sharing your experience! I feels like it is the whole module problem cause the wiper goes crazy all the time :(

Just want to share with everyone

It turns out to be the steering wheel sensor, parts is $560 labor is $400.
They do told me there is a SZL angle sensor repair kit(only $2x, and it doesn't need to be reprogrammed) if you only have a bad or dirty IR sensor/optic disc on the circuit board.
But in my case the whole SZL angle sensor are defective and need to be replaced! :(
