Ok...so as I was driving into work this morning I noticed the check engine light illuminated. Car seemed to be running normally. Car systems are all reading "OK". The weird thing was half of my Sat radio presets are gone...and the USB port wont read my memory stick. Scheduled for service on Saturday so we will see what MINI says...

 

That is strange how the check engine light comes on and effects your usb and sat. radio presets.. I swear these strange things only happen in MINIs...lol.. maybe theres a fuse out..bad connection...But keep us posted.. I really would like to hear what this is.. I have a 2013 also and everyday I pray not to see anything out of the norm happen.. Good luck!! I will look for your post on this one! cheers!

 

Seems a sensor was "sticking" somewhere in the emissions control system. Parts were ordered, light was turned off, car seems to be running well. Patrick Mini was quick to take care of this...one word of warning...watch the lot guys there...I watched one rev the crap out of a yellow Justa and beat on it bringing it up to park for the customer...had that been my car...we would have had major issues.
