I read all the stumble posts, but i have a much bigger problem with my early 02 S. It started about a year ago. Engine warm, not recent refueling, A/C off. Pulling away from a stop, I can feel that the engine is off power, like someone has retarded the timing about 10 degrees. When I get up to about 3800..BAM, it starts running on 3 cylinders and will not maintain road speed. I pull over, stop and restart and it runs fine. the check engine light is on however. This will stay on for about a day or two. This can happen at anytime, but seemd to be in high vacuum situations. It also feels like the supercharger is not working when it is down on power. The dealer has upgraded the software and epalced the entire underhood wiring, so he doesn't have clue either..he is just throwing parts at it. Do these have pop-off valves? I had the yo-yo effect which was diminished with new software, bt this is much bigger. It's been in the shop for more than 30 days with this problem and my state says I can get a new one. Any ideas?? :???:

 

that sucks. u should try to have them buy it back and buy an 04 or if u can wait a 05 MCS

Don't waist anymore time, file a claim to get a new one, that is if you want a new one.

 

Short answer is get a new one......period.

Would also please help me???? You see, I've got this BRG job...and it is ugly and it is slow....any chance of discontinuing the color so not many more people are dissatisfied. complaints about this color are all over this site. PLEASE, discontinue the BRG.......can I get a number????
