Another Oil Leak

I recently replaced my valve cover to replace an oil leak on my 08MCSa, 73k miles. After that, I rinsed down the engine really well. This weekend I put on an intercooler, and see that I have another oil leak. The car sat for a couple of days before I brought it in the garage, so there is actually a drip on the downpipe. The cylinder head is dry, as is the block below the oil filter. All of the oil pan bolts are tight.

It seems that there is a decent amount coming from the window in the trans bellhousing, but there is also some on a few oil pan bolts above the downpipe. I don't remember reading of any common leaks in this area.

Ideas?

Mike

Your downpipe drips might be coming from turbo oil pipes.

Turbo oil supply and drain is a good idea. You should also check around the oil cooler for leaks as it's in the general vicinity too.
