The manual I have says: 50Nm (36.8 ft-lb) + 100 degree. Hope this helps.

Just took it for a test drive. No more ticking and it runs great.

I'm currently doing this to my 2007 MCS. My Chiltons manual concurs with Ranger. 37 lbs/ft + 100 degrees.

BMW TIS states 50nm and then 180 degrees

The Chilton manual and TIS are off. I would trust TIS before Chilton.
