So I've been noticing that for the past few months my clutch makes a squeaking noise when I let it out. This ONLY happens when starting from a stop in 1st. I've read a couple of things online, and I'm thinking it's a bad Throw out Bearing?

Does this mean it's time for a new clutch?

Oh, and I have an 05' MCS with 95k AND the stock clutch.

I have the same issue. Usually when on a slight incline. Not sure if I should get into a repair or not.

Advice would be appreciated.

I have a decent shop with tools and skills but wonder if DIY is a good/bad idea.

My 03 did this and it was a known issue that the dealer fixed under warranty. I don't know if you can get it fixed now or not but maybe worth an ask. Plus I was able to buy the clutch parts and they didn't charge me for labor to put them on since they had it ripped apart.

 

Probably sol at a dealership. Nearest is in Ottawa (150miles) anyway.

What's the worst that could happen if I keep going ?
