Just go a cooper S and this morning I took two corners kind of fast, not anything that would be on a track. I looked down after the second one witch was a few miles from the first, noticed my EML light was on. No issues with the car at all, no power lose no noises or anything so I drove for about 2-3 miles and it didn't shut off, so while driving I pushed the clutch in and turned the car off and restarted it. The light went away and hasn't come back on, I drove about 20 miles after with no issues. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be looking for something or could this have been just a freak thing? I have read other post about this but everyone's car went into limp mode and what not but my car did not. Thanks for any help/advice!!

 

So my ride home was good, no lights came on. I even got to play some!! So no body has had this light just come on and not cause any problems?
