Try looking at TIS Document 3160003 and 3160004

Let me know if that helps..

Ask Jesse James. You'll probably only need one tool......a cutting torch. Sorry..couldn't resist. Hope the Cispy MINI project is coming along good.
Cheers,

Remove the nut in the center of front hub, detach lower ball joint, steering tie rod and sway bar end link. push the driveshat back into the transmission while pulling the front hub towards you until the tip of the drivehaft clears the front hub. Then pull the driveshaft out.

The front hub is where your wheel bearing, driveshaft and brake rotor attach to.

The nut that you need to remove is in the center as you face the brake rotor. The nut has a goldish color to it. You need to remove this nut to free the driveshaft.

yes, but you may need a helping hand to pull and swing the front hub away while you push the driveshaft into the transmission with one hand and move the drive shaft tip so it will clear the front hub.

Can the driveshaft be pulled out of the Transmission with the driveshaft still connected to the hub?

yeah, but you would also have to disconnect the spring/strut and remove the brake caliper or brake line.
