No interior lights

I went out to my car last night and the interior lights never came on but the boot light did. I then went to open the boot to have a look and the boot wouldn't open. Has anybody experienced this?

Check your battery. When they get low it will cause the car to do odd things.

I have checked the battery and it is fine. I took the cover off the interior light and checked the voltage, I'm only getting 2V - 3V where as the boot light id getting 12V. The boot handle still doesn't work. Im stumped, I've checked fuses, put the original bulbs in. I don't know what else to try.

I had the same problem with my 05 MCS as I changed the interior lights to LEDs so when I went to put the last bulb the fuse went out, after replacing it it click and dim the lights so I left some of the original bulbs and it worked fine for a while, one day I had to put the rear seats down and as I drove the boot light was blinking like mad the whole way but when I stopped the car and opened the boot it would stay lid as norm.
I switched the LED boot light to the glovebox and put the non LED to the boot and is back to normal, my hatch wouldn't open yesterday but the was water related.
So I have LEDs on the footwell, roof light , and glovebox.
I want to put LEDs on the door puddle lights, boot is out of the question and license plate lights would be nice but I hear there is also a problem fitting those as well.i would suggest changing the fuses even if they look fine. I hope it helps

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to try using the original bulbs and see if that resolves the problem, I will also change the fuse to see if that resolves the issue.

I have replaced all my bulbs back to stock and still nothing. I also noticed the other day that when if I start the car with the door open I get a very dim flash from the light but still doesn't turn on. I think I'm going to have to take it to a dealer and see if they can fix the problem because it's really bugging me now. Has ahnybody else experienced this problem?

I'm having almost the same problem but with mine is the fuse that keeps blowing, I'm also getting 2 or 3V from the fuse box before the fuse blows, so far No one has responded to my other thread about this issue, hopefully someone may be able to help with this.
I'm going to try to clean and waterproof the latch wires to see if it helps, this is getting old.
Good luck at the dealer and please let us know what happens. Thanks
