For those who are interested in the intake w/o hose or want to add the hose afterwards, try JSC Speed.

I just installed the Alta on mine and got the system from a dealer in Austin, TX at a good price. I researched a lot of suppliers and didn't find a price as good as the JSC price in the previous message. That looks like a winner to me.

One note about the hose, if you want it because it looks cool, then that's a good reason. But if you are getting it for additional performance gains, here is what Randy Webb from Webb Motorsports has to say.

If you don't have any downstream improvements in the air passage such as larger throttle body or bigger inter-cooler, or don't intend to make these modifications, then don't waste your money on the silicone hose. Back to back Dyno tests, with and without the hose on a stock throttle body and inter-cooler show no performance gain at all. So save your $60-$90 for something else.

PS: The Alta system + my Magnaflow exhaust unlocked my MCS, WOW what a difference, and the sound of both is unbelievable.

Watch my slide show below for a picture of both. Click on the picture and go to my gallery page for more installation pictures.

Ed, I have JCW as well. Initially, I only upgraded the Alta intake w/o the hose. However, later when I decided to have a totally free-flow system on my car, I added the hose, Madness throttle body, and Miltek header. I wished that I had purchased the intake w/hose, which would've been much cheaper.

Considering the package price of $230, I would say go for it!
