Oil Leak

I've searched and searched but need some help identifying this hose with an oil leak. Thanks.

My guess would be your chain tensioner has backed out a bit and is leaking. The oil on the hose is just where it is getting sprayed.

That's the 'cold-side' boost tube, which is apart of the intake system.
That oil seepage is typically from the oil vapor pulled in from the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system.
Simply remove, clean and reassemble.

While removed, check to see how much oil film is inside... will that much seepage, I'll be curious how much oil is possibly collected in the intercooler.

You're welcome and good luck. Please do take some pics and we'll be able to give you some insight on how much oil seepage is too much or not.

Thanks jcauseyfd, I looked all over and only see oil residue on the hose. I did take apart the cold side boost tube as bluefox280 suggested and found a broken rubber gasket/o-ring. As I took it apart, I did find oil on the top half as you can see in the pictures. The question is whether this is a lot?

That explains the seepage issue; when you make positive boost, the pressure is pushing the oil film out of the intake seals.

No, that's typically a normal "film" amount. A small collection pool can occur, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

Good news, with that replaced O-ring, you should have better holding boost pressure which will return some performance to the car.

Any one know the part number for that O-ring? Mine is leaking from the same place and you can smell oil burning sometimes under boost. I'm going to take it apart to check but would like to have the part first.
