Door´s pilot secure/actuator strange behavior, help!!!

Hi,

I need all your help in this, more or less strange.

I did a repro to my Mini (because I have some mods installed) and that day everything excellent with the both secures/actuators of the doors, then the next day I needed to dissconect a little bit the battery, well after that the secure of my door (pilot) sometimes (almost all the times) doesn´t up to open the door with the controll key, so I need to open it with the Key, but with the controll key always down the secure to close the door.

The very strange thing is when the Mini is moving then the actuator of my door (pilot) doesn´t down, only the one of the copilot and this is always.

So do u think this is something for the repro in the Ecu? or is just simple the actuator of the door and I need to change it ??, becasue I don´t want to spend some money to change it and then see that it wasn´t the actuator.

Please tell me, really you will help me a lot.

Mario

So if I am understanding this correctly, the door will not unlock with the key fob unlock button? If this is correct, then does it unlock with the door lock switch in the center panel? If not, then I would remove the door panel to check operation of the door lock actuator. If the center panel DOES unlock the door, you have a problem with the key, itself.

Nitro Jake,

Thank you for your answer.... I will try to explain me better.

The driver´s door doesn´t unlock with the control of the key, only unlock manually direct with the key in the car.

But the key´s control lock the door without a problem.

Only is very strange that when the mini is moving the driver´s door doesn´t lock like the passenger´s door.

Also I can´t unlock the driver´s door with the center panel, the passenger´s door yes and I can lock both doors.

So do u think could be the actuator ??
